Senior Appreciation Dinner {Southbrook Seniors}

Last Friday night the leaders from our Student Ministry put together a dinner to show the seniors how much they are appreciated and loved.  It was a great night of Mexican Food (La Unica!) and fun with the students and their families.  Billy finished off the night by handing out some essential gifts (like tp, instant mac-n-cheese and energy drinks) and left them with a reminder that the necessity of moving on in life does not mean they will ever be forgotten or replaced.  On the contrary… Let the next phase begin with full love and support of their families, leaders, friends and most importantly…  God!

And of course I have to include “the prank” which left one lucky guy with a mouthful of sour cream instead of whip cream.  Yum!

Mary {senior session}

We have been blessed to know this family for several years now — first getting to know them and serving with them when we lived in FL (when their youngest and our oldest were just toddlers!)… and are now we are so excited that they moved about an hour north of us here in NC! We’re definitely close enough to get together on a regular basis.  Yay~!

The girls all drove down and we had some fun afternoon adventures taking senior pics for Mary!  We even got to finish off the evening with some fabulous mexican food from our very favorite place. Mmmmm….

Chalkboard Invite {design}

I think I love designing as much as I love photography and editing!  Recently, I was able to design these 5×7 invitations for the seniors who will be soon graduating out of my husband’s student ministry.  I hope many (if not all) of them will be able to attend this event, letting them know how much they are loved and appreciated!

I had them printed by Persnickety Prints on a linen finish cardstock and of course they did a fabulous job.  They turned out beautifully!  I adore textured papers!  Here is the finished product…

Easter Instagram Fun {& free template}

We had a great Easter!  …Great services at Southbrook Church, followed by an Easter egg hunt (complete with hot air balloon), an afternoon with friends, great food, another egg hunt in the backyard and a bounce house!

Amy {senior session 2}

We finally finished what we started last fall!  Lots of circumstances  prevented us from getting to our second session, but we finally made it happen.  We jumped from fall right into spring and missed winter altogether! 

It was a cloudy (turned rainy) Saturday afternoon and just as we were finishing up the sun came out for a bit!  We had a lot of fun finishing up Amy’s senior shots~
