Yesterday evening the snow that we were expecting in the forecast finally began to fall. Â Of course it was too late in the day for the kids to enjoy it. Â So, first thing this morning, before the sun was fully up, they were dressed and ready to go outside! Â For kids born in FL, and living in NC the past few years, snow is a BIG DEAL. Â Not so much for me since I grew up in MN and WI! 🙂
Right after breakfast they trudged out into the one inch snow (if that) and played until their fingers were frozen stiff!  Of course, in NC, when there is snow all schools are cancelled…so their friends were out early in the snow too!  And  yes, that’s my girl eating the snow on the deck :-p!
